Flashback (1990)

Just watched “FLASHBACK” (1990) – Keifer Sutherland, Dennis Hopper, Carol Kane ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099581/ ) – It hilariously, lovingly, and thoughtfully revisits the 60s while bidding good riddance to the 80’s and looking hopefully to the future!

Watching, “FLASHBACK”, I had a Rude Awakening:

WE ARE STUCK IN THE 80’s!

The opening sequence flips through scenes & icons of the 80’s…
…it was eerily similar to: TODAY!
…it’s all the same…
…just different!

Best way to start to leave the 80s?

It’s a blast from the past!

Huey Walker (Dennis Hopper) to John Buckner (Keifer Sutherland): “…once we leave the 80s, the 90s are gonna make the 60s look like the 50s!”

Once enough of us leave the 80s, move forward through the 90s, and begin catching up with present reality, the post-80s world WILL make the 60s look like the 50s.
